In the light of the outbreak of this virus we want to let you know what we are doing to keep our staff and you as safe as possible.

We are following Government guidance and would recommend to anyone with any concerns that they also check the Government website. Please see the link below

Following the Government’s request for social distancing we are now asking all clients and contacts to please not attend the office without a pre-booked appointment. This is important so that we can control access to our offices and ensure that appointments are conducted in an appropriate manner and without too many people attending reception.

Our offices will remain open for business for as long as possible  even if with a skeleton staff but even if the office is closed we will be working remotely. Please rest assured that we will be dealing with legal matters in exactly the same way as we would if you instructed us and the office was open as usual. We have put in place arrangements to enable remote working in conjunction with a skeleton staff. Our telephone system is able to take calls remotely and our staff will be able to make and receive calls as if they were in the office.

To those undertaking property transactions within the context of the above it will be business as usual and we are working with local firms of solicitors to develop ways of working which will ensure that completion arrangements can still take place on the agreed completion date. Our property Department will fully advise you about these arrangements during the course of the property transaction.

We would ask for your understanding during these difficult times as we may not always be able to respond as quickly as we would normally like and therefore transactions may be slowed down.

We will be posting updates  in our office window or on our website as the current situation evolves.

Please do ring or us to discuss any particular concerns you may have.

We will work with you as we move through these difficult times

We hope that you and those close to you stay safe and well.
